WYOMING | MERRIAM TURKEY HUNT

TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION
We are heading to Wyoming for an amazing weekend of turkey hunting! This will be a trip to remember as we chase Merriam Turkeys through the Wyoming mountainous terrain for 3 days! Our guides will graciously be scouting, calling in birds, and all meals/lodging are provided for us. During the hunt there will be a 1 guide to 2 hunter ratio, giving everyone a great experience and fair chance to harvest a turkey. There will be a group of 8 women heading to Wyoming to chase these turkeys so be prepared to make memories and friends that are sure to last a lifetime! The Merriam Turkey subspecies is primarily only found in the western mountain regions, which makes this hunt even more special and unique! If you are worried or hesitant because you’ve never tried this before, set your worries aside! Our guides will make this an amazing experience! Plan to arrive anytime after 12 P.M. on Thursday May 16th, 2024. Prepare to leave Monday morning on May 20th, 2024. Our outfitter believes that each hunt should be a "quality" experience, to be remembered long after the trophy mounts have faded and lost their luster. They truly strive to make each hunt a totally satisfying experience, so much so that the only easing of the pain as the hunt ends is the knowledge that next year's hunt has already started counting down. This hunt is 100% fair chase, with no game fences or guaranteed kill situations. The only guarantee we do make, is that we will do everything possible to make your hunt a success, and an experience you will want to come back and enjoy again!
LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS + MISC. DETAILS
We will be staying in the outfitters hunting Lodge located in Alzada Montana, which is just north of where we are hunting in Wyoming. The hunting lodge has a full kitchen, where meals will be provided for us! There is a spacious living room to hangout and relax in. We will have plenty of space to move around amongst each other.
TARGET SPECIES, REGULATIONS AND PROCESSING OF TAXIDERMY OR MEAT HARVEST PLAN.
We are hunting Merriam Turkeys! You will need a $74.00 Non-Resident Spring Turkey Tag if you’re not a Wyoming resident and a $12.20 Conservation License. We will be cleaning turkeys and bringing them home. You may bring the turkey home to be mounted if wanted or can also just bring the turkey fan to mount. If you are flying, we will need to freeze the meat and carry it on or store it in checked luggage. Or, you can ship it home. We recommend bringing extra trash bags to store meat in and fly it in your carry on.
