TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION
We are heading to the Florida Keys once again with Captain Tony and our friends at Forever Young Charter Company for a long weekend on the water. This time around we are charter fishing in hopes of catching midsummer mahi-mahi, snapper and yellowtail. All tackle, bait, fishing permits and a private boat is included for this trip! Islamorada is the Florida Keys hotspot for year round fishing. Forever Young Charter Company offers charters for all ages and experience levels, and they specialize in first time anglers, so if you have never fished big ocean waters before - this is the trip for you! Plan to arrive Thursday evening for three nights of lodging and two full charter days (6 A.M. - 2:30 P.M.) on Friday and Saturday. You will want to depart anytime before 11 A.M. on Sunday.
TRIP ACCOMMODATIONS + MISC. DETAILS
We will be staying in a tropical oceanside condo in Key Largo, Florida by Oceanside Suites. From sunrise to sunset there are tons of activities we will be able to enjoy during our downtime. Directly on the grounds of Ocean Pointe Suites, they offer a waterfront cafe, free tennis, a huge heated pool, and a private beach for all guests. Restaurants and shopping are just minutes away along with boating, fishing, snorkeling, diving, everglades eco tours, glass bottom boat trips, parasailing, wave runners, and even swimming with dolphins! Our charters should complete around 2:30 p.m. each day so there is plenty of time to explore! From our condo in Key Largo to our charter is a distance of 16 miles (or approximately 25 minutes drive).

We are able to offer this weekend at $900 per person, which will include a nonrefundable deposit of $300 and two additional payments of $300.

AIRPORTS + TRAVEL INFORMATION
The nearest airport to Key Largo is Miami (MIA) Airport which is 50.3 miles away. Other nearby airports include Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL) (71 miles), Key West (EYW) (90.4 miles) and West Palm Beach/Palm Beach (PBI) (113.5 miles). We recommend flying into Miami (MIA). Greyhound USA operates a bus from Miami Airln Term to Key Largo once daily. Tickets cost $13 - $20 and the journey takes 1h 20m.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: PLEASE MAKE ALL PAYMENTS BY THEIR DUE DATES. IF PAYMENTS ARE LATE WE WILL ALWAYS WORK WITH YOU. HOWEVER IF THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION WE WILL ASSUME YOU ARE FORFEITING YOUR SPOT AND ANY PAYMENTS MADE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. WE WILL THEN REACH OUT TO OUR WAITLIST AND GET YOUR SPOT FILLED BY ANOTHER PARTY. BY REGISTERING FOR ANY HER WILDERNESS TRIP YOU ARE UNDER THE FULL UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. We are able to offer a partial refund only if we fill your spot with a member on the waiting list. At that time we may be able to refund any additional payments made outside of your deposit. Your deposit is NOT refundable. If your spot does not get filled, we will not be able to offer a refund. Meals and a tip to your guide are not included in this trip.
