TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION
We will be heading to Paducah, Kentucky to spend two nights on the water chasing after carp and gar. Captain CT Meyer with The Obsession Outdoors has 12 years of experience bowfishing and will put us on fish all night long. This trip is open to everyone! Little to no experience is welcomed! Clayton will help to guide us through the whole process from start to finish. The guide will also provide all that’s needed to harvest the fish. All you need to bring is a small cooler for drinks, snacks, waterproof boots, waterproof clothing, and your Kentucky fishing license.
The price for this weekend will cover two nights of bowfishing, a two nights stay in our Airbnb, all equipment needed to bowfish, and a generous tip to our guide. We are staying at an Airbnb and it is likely you will have to share a room or bed with others on this trip. Please be prepared for that!
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: A Kentucky fishing license is needed for this trip. A 7-day Nonresident Fishing License costs $35. You can buy it online here or at a local Walmart.
TRIP ACCOMMODATIONS + MISC. DETAILS
While we are not bowfishing we can head back to our Airbnb located in Grand Rivers to cook meals in our fully furnished kitchen or outside on the charcoal grill. There is a pond located on the 1.5 acre lot that we are allowed to fish! We will be sure to have a bonfire one night and hangout before heading out to bowfish.

We are able to offer this weekend at $475 per person, which will include a nonrefundable deposit of $275 and one additional payment of $200.

AIRPORTS + TRAVEL INFORMATION
The nearest airport is the Barkley Regional Airport (PAH) which is about 9 miles from our Airbnb for the weekend. The second nearest airport is Cape Girardeau Regional Airport which is about 54.4 miles to Paducah. We recommend waiting to book your flights to be in sync with the other women attending to make traveling from the airport to the Airbnb easier. Tentatively plan to arrive sometime in the afternoon (around 4 P.M.) Friday and depart in the early evening (between 12 and 4 P.M.) on Sunday.
TRIP REGISTRATION AND CONTACT INFORMATION
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: PLEASE MAKE ALL PAYMENTS BY THEIR DUE DATES. IF PAYMENTS ARE LATE WE WILL ALWAYS WORK WITH YOU. HOWEVER IF THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION WE WILL ASSUME YOU ARE FORFEITING YOUR SPOT AND ANY PAYMENTS MADE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. WE WILL THEN REACH OUT TO OUR WAITLIST AND GET YOUR SPOT FILLED BY ANOTHER PARTY. BY REGISTERING FOR ANY HER WILDERNESS TRIP YOU ARE UNDER THE FULL UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. We are able to offer a partial refund only if we fill your spot with a member on the waiting list. At that time we may be able to refund any additional payments made outside of your deposit. Your deposit is NOT refundable. If your spot does not get filled, we will not be able to offer a refund.
