STARTING AND ENDING IN LOS ANGELES, CA

*Before booking! Please do not register for this trip alone expecting to be placed into a van with someone. Van couples have already been paired up and we are now only accepting registration for double occupancy or single person registrations. If you are looking to register with a friend, ONE person please send in the deposit and we will follow up with a separate link for the 2nd person to pay their deposit.

We are so excited to be heading out west for our very first trip to California! We will be spending 6 days traveling through the state of California in professionally converted camper vans. Stopping at Sequoia National Park, Yosemite National Park, traveling the beautiful 17 mile drive along the California Coast and ending our trip at a beautiful Airbnb in Beverly Hills! Who is ready to join us for this epic road trip of a life time?!

DAY 1 - Tuesday April 25th We will be starting our journey landing at the Los Angeles airport. Please be sure your flight lands by 1pm. Once everyone has arrived at LAX we will be splitting the cost of transportation to our van pick up location. The pick up location for the vans is approx. 10 miles from LAX airport. Pick up/Check in time is 3pm. Each individual or pair who is renting a van will have to work with Cabana to fill out paper work, get the proper coverage, etc. Her Wilderness will not be renting the van on your behalf, we are simply booking/paying in full to received a group discount on the rentals. After we are all settled into our vans, unpacked and ready to go we will take off towards Sequoia National Park. The drive from Cabana Van Rentals to the entrance of Sequoia National Park is 200 miles (approx. 3.5 hours) We will stop somewhere along our route to get groceries for the next few days. We will have a perfect evening drive through the state of California during sunset. We will arrive at Sequoia Resort RV Resort for the evening and have a fire (if allowed) hang out, get to know each other and cook ourselves a meal! We will be staying our first night at Sequoia Resort RV park and parking 2 vans per campsite. This RV Resort has a shared bathroom/shower, Wifi Access, Fire Pits and a community space with a propane grill.

DAY 2 - Wednesday April 26th We will wake up bright and early on Wednesday April 26th to enter the Sequoia National Park. Our drive will be a scenic 1 hour drive full of bends, curves and turns. We spend the morning walking amongst these breath taking giants. We will spend our morning here and then move our way along to Yosemite National Park. This 3 hour drive will be scenic and beautiful, there are some fun lunch spots along the way that we will stop. Be prepared to not have cell phone service during this part of our trip. Depending on what time we arrive to our campsite at Yosemite Lakes RV Resort we will try to get settled in and head into Yosemite for a beautiful sunset hike. Our spot is only 6 miles away from the entrance of Yosemite National Park!

We will spend night #2 and night #3 at Yosemite Lakes RV Resort full of amenities to ensure we are comfortable!

DAY 3 - Thursday the 27th we will wake up and spend a FULL DAY inside of the park. We will have to plan for meals inside of the park which can be made inside of your van of you can take advantage of the restaurants they have. We will spend our evening at the same campsite at Yosemite Lakes RV Resort so that we can enjoy the sunset inside the park and then take a quick 10 minute drive to our sleeping arrangements for the evening!

DAY 4 - Friday April 28th we will be waking up and getting on the road by 5am and driving 4 hours to the beautiful California coast. We are starting with the iconic 17 mile drive around 10am, we will spend 3-4 hours driving south. This is truly the best way to experience the coast. We will be living the typical “Van Life Lifestyle” on the sunny coasts of California. We will be driving 150 miles along the coast down to Cambria, CA. From there we will head to our accommodations for the night at Four Sisters Ranch + Winery. We will need to arrive at Four Sister Ranch around 3:30pm to get checked in and spend the evening relaxing amongst the vines, sipping wine, watching the sunset and eating supper. This will be a longer driving day and then we will be spending the evening outside of the van in the winery relaxing!

DAY 5 - Saturday April 29th We will spend the day driving the rest of the coast stopping in Malibu, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica and ending at our Airbnb in Beverly Hills for the night. Our airbnb will be a comfortable way to end our “Van Life” excursion with comfortable beds, showers and a hot tub. This home is within 20 minutes of everything you could possibly want to see in LA. There are nearby beaches, markets, dining and other attractions! We will plan to take advantage of the night life and enjoy the local cuisine. We will plan to go out to eat or order food in for the evening!

DAY 6 Sunday 30th Drop Vans off by 11am, unpack vans and ride share back to LAX Airport. Find flights after 2pm.

DEPOSIT + PAYMENT PLAN

We are able to offer this trip at $1,500 per van. You can choose to rent the van by yourself or split the cost and share the van with another woman on this trip. You must be 25 years or older to become a driver listed on the van. THIS TRIP INCLUDES 5 DAY OF ADVENTURE IN A PROFESSIONALLY CONVERTED CAMPER VAN THROUGH CALIFORNIA. THE PRICE OF THIS TRIP INCLUDES VAN RENTAL AND PAID CAMPSITE/RV LODGING EACH NIGHT. THE PRICE OF THIS TRIP DOES NOT INCLUDE FOOD, FUEL, INSURANCE ,NATIONAL PARK ENTRANCE FEES OR TRANSPORTATION TO AN FROM THE AIRPORT.

YOU CAN SIGN UP AS SINGLE OR DOUBLE OCCUPANCY. IF YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR THIS TRIP ALONE, YOU WILL GET THE WHOLE VAN TO YOURSELF. ($1,500) IF YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR THIS TRIP WITH A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER YOU WILL SHARE YOUR VAN FOR THE DURATION OF THIS TRIP.
