TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION
We are heading to Pamer, KS for an amazing trip chasing after Rio Grande Turkeys! Our guides will graciously be scouting, calling in birds, and preparing all meals for us. This trip will accommodate 6 women, giving everyone a great experience and direct guiding to kill a turkey. Beginner turkey hunters are welcome! Please keep in mind that in some instances we may have to track birds, meaning you will need to be physically able to walk through the woods quietly. Plan to arrive in Palmer, Kansas around 4 P.M. at our lodge. We will have dinner at the lodge, followed by a campfire hang-out to get to know our fellow hunters. We will have three full days of hunting, heading to the woods in the morning, coming back to the lodge for lunch, and back out into the woods in the afternoon before dinner. Plan to depart Scattered Acres Outfitters around 10 A.M. on Thursday.
If we all limit out early, we can check with our guides about putting together a fishing trip, or explore the area we will be staying in!
LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS + MISC. DETAILS
We will be staying in the Pheasant Run Lodge at Scattered Acres Outfitters. Our lodge will have 5 bedrooms, and 3.5 bathrooms for 6 ladies. Our lodge also features a gas fireplace, outdoor fire pit, grill, pool table, bar, washer/dryer, televisions, and WIFI! Please keep in mind that it is possible you may have to share a bed or room with the other ladies - please be prepared for that!
TARGET SPECIES, REGULATIONS AND PROCESSING OF TAXIDERMY OR MEAT HARVEST PLAN.
We are targeting Rio Grande Turkeys! Each day of hunting (three total hunt days) we will head out into the woods early in the morning, come back to the lodge for lunch, and head back out to the woods for an afternoon hunt. We will be cleaning turkeys and bringing them home. You may bring the turkey home to be mounted if wanted. Our guides also have recommendations for a local taxidermist, if you choose to have your mount done locally. If you are flying, you can choose to freeze the meat and ship it home, or check it with your luggage.
For this trip, you will need a Kansas Hunting License, a Kansas Spring Turkey Permit, and a Kansas Spring Turkey Tag.

We are able to offer this weekend at only $1,575 per person, which will include a nonrefundable deposit of $375 and 3 additional payments of $400.
