TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION
We are heading to the Jamestown, ND area for an amazing weekend of snow goose hunting! This trip will be one for the books; NO PLUGS, NO LIMITS! The scene from the field is one you can’t imagine unless you experience it. It resembles a snow globe as whirlwinds of geese come down from the sky and honking fills your ears with a real life soundtrack. This trip will accommodate 9 women, giving everyone a great experience. Our guides at Dirty Birds will make this a trip you won’t forget!
LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS + MISC. DETAILS
We will be staying at a cute and cozy craftsman home in Jamestown, ND where there is plenty of room for us to relax and hangout. This home offers three bedrooms, a den with a pullout bed and 3.5 bathrooms. We will have access to a full kitchen so we can plan on eating in or going out for dinner Saturday night.
TARGET SPECIES, REGULATIONS AND PROCESSING OF TAXIDERMY OR MEAT HARVEST PLAN.
We will be hunting all species of light geese, this includes lesser snow geese (including blue) snow geese and ross geese. We will hunt early in the morning and evening on Saturday and Sunday morning. Our afternoon might be free to hangout in the house or explore Jamestown! All geese will be cleaned and brought home. If you wish to, you can bring home one of your harvested birds to be mounted, light geese make beautiful mounts. If you are flying, we will need to freeze the meat, add it to your carry on or store it in checked luggage. There may be additional options to ship it home as well. We recommend bringing extra trash bags to store meat in and fly it in your carry on.
Residents must have a combination license; or a small game, and general game and habitat license. Nonresidents need a 2022 spring light goose conservation order license. The cost is $50 and valid statewide. Nonresidents who hunt in spring remain eligible to buy a fall season license. The spring license does not count against the 14-day fall waterfowl hunting season regulation.

We are able to offer this weekend at only $775 per person, which will include a nonrefundable deposit of $225 and 2 additional payments of $250.

CAN I ATTEND A TRIP BY MYSELF?
Yes! Many of our members attend Her Wilderness event by themselves, and leave feeling like they have made new life long friends. This is a huge part of why we do what we do. We highly encourage you to step out of your comfort zone, come meet some new women who love the same things you do.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT TO BRING ON A TRIP?
For each trip, we will create a private group with every member attending to use as the main form of communication. One week before the respective trip we will post in the individual trip’s Facebook group a “what to pack” list that will include information that we think will be helpful. Remember, this may not include everything you need for your specific style of hunting and fishing. It’s always a good idea to do your own research. CAN I GET A REFUND IF I CAN’T ATTEND A TRIP OR EVENT?
By registering for a trip, you check that you understand that there are NO refunds on your deposit. We may be able to offer a partial refund on additional payments made if we fill your spot with another attendee and the trip is completely filled. Your deposit will not be refunded even if your spot is filled.
DO HER WILDERNESS TRIPS INCLUDE A TIP?
No. As of January 1st, 2022 we no longer include a tip to our guides on our trips. We don’t always know how each person is feeling towards their experience and we want everyone to be in control of what they tip. Please be prepared to bring additional funds to give your guides a tip!
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF A TRIP IS SOLD OUT?
JOIN OUR WAIT LIST! If a trip you’re interested in is sold out and you’d like to be placed on the wait list, email questions@herwilderness.co. We almost ALWAYS have last minute spots open, and being on the wait list is the best way to snag them before we post them on social media.
