TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION
This trip is truly the ONLY of its kind! We are getting a group of 10 women together to become “certified bad asses” by the end of the weekend. We are heading to a tactical range and camp for a weekend of training, education and A LOT OF SHOOTING! This range is one of the only places that you can get out from 25 to 800 yards with a rifle on 24 pieces of AR500 steel. With two pistol pits, a rifle range, a heated/cooled shooting area, a fancy wirelessly controlled clay thrower, and other well-thought out additions to the range, you will maximize your enjoyment as you sharpen your skills! We will be enjoying private lessons from the instructors. These instructors believe that quality training is the foundation for safe handling of firearms and in-the-moment decision making. The intention behind this weekend is to ensure that everyone who owns a firearm knows how to use it well. Through great training, you can potentially save your life, and the lives of others! All ammo and firearms are included from the weekend.
Tentative Itinerary
Thursday - Arrive, Intro and intentions for the weekend, group bonfire
Friday - Full day tactical training
Saturday - Paintball war, obstacle course, ax throwing, fishing, hiking and more!
Sunday - Depart
We will start our weekend getting settled into our 10 person cabin right on site. The cabin includes a fully stocked kitchen for us to enjoy our meals throughout the weekend. We will arrive, get to know each other and spend the rest of the evening around the campfire. We will get to meet our instructors and set intentions for the rest of the weekend. On Friday morning be prepared to spend a full day building confidence and getting hands on instruction with pistol tactics, AR fundamentals and trauma management techniques. These educational courses have the ability to save your life and they are guaranteed to equip you with the tools to become more confident in yourselves.
Training Day Breakdown:
The pistol and AR training will focus on creating the foundation for all levels of marksmen to improve with the most up to date principles of marksmanship and safety. The goal is to create safe and confident marksmen who have no problem grouping, zeroing and engaging targets accurately. This course will also teach efficient reloads, malfunction clearing and rapid target acquisition through a series of applicable drills that can be practiced throughout the rest of your personal range times!
Never heard of trauma management? Why do we need this? Well the simple answer is that "the body won't go where the mind hasn't". Meaning that terrible day when you come across an accident, are involved in an assault or simply need to help someone who banged their head at work. Rapid, proper training can save a life. You don't have to have any medical experience to learn quick and easy ways to help prevent death! The instructors from this course are army special mission medics, firefighter/paramedic and sniper team medics. They are sure to make this class fun and easy to understand! They will teach us how to use minimal medical equipment to save lives!
After a full day of hands-on training on Friday, we will get some rest! However, on Saturday you will be ready to put what you learned to the ultimate test in a fun competitive style paintball shootout. We will spend the morning split into teams to take each other OUT! This friendly shoot will be sure to get your blood pumping and give you a real world try at some of the different techniques you learned the day before! After we’ve wrapped up the paint ball war we have the rest of the afternoon to enjoy different activities like; ax throwing, obstacle courses, pond fishing, hiking and more!

We will be staying in the cabin right on site at the range and training facility. You may have to share a bed or room with someone else on this trip. Please be prepared for that!

Things not included in this trip:
-Any tips to your guides/outfitters - please wait to hear from your coordinator on a suggested tipping amount and plan to always bring cash for tipping. Tipping doesn’t apply to all trips.
-Transportation. Your airline or rental car is not included. Please do not expect to arrive at the airport and have a ride unless specifically planned out with someone.. We suggest that you wait to book any travel plans until you’ve talked with other girls going on the trip. Chances are other people are also flying/driving in and you will be able to coordinate plans with them. It is always cheaper to split a rental car 4 ways!
-Meals are not included in the cost of this trip. We will plan to enjoy the local cuisines or cook at our lodging accommodations!
