TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION

We are heading to Chelan, Washington, where we will be surrounded by vineyards, mountains and Lake Chelan. Chelan is a perfect town for a summer escape. On this trip, we are chasing some fins, specifically Chinook Salmon. Our boat will allow space for a total of 6 girls, giving each of us the opportunity to take down some salmon for two days in a row. This trip is the perfect summer getaway, beautiful views, full coolers and quality time spent with other ladies with like minds. We will arrive at our Airbnb condo on Tuesday, July 9 and depart Thursday, July 11 after our morning fish. If you love tight lines and good times, I highly recommend this trip!

LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS + MISC. DETAILS

We will be staying in a condominium with a view of Lake Chelan. The condo is only a short walk to the beach and includes an indoor pool and hot tub. The condo includes a private balcony for fresh air all while soaking in the views of the lake and mountains. There is plenty of space for us to gather following our fishy adventures, whether it’s relaxing on the beach, renting jet skis or hanging out on the balcony.

This is a 2 bedroom condo with 3 beds, 1 king, 1 queen and 1 sofa bed, please be prepared to share a bed. There are 2 large bathrooms. There is plenty of space to move around and adventure in the condo and in the town of Chelan, WA. July is the perfect time for summer, outdoor activities, don’t forget the sunscreen. Other additional activities on the trip outside of fishing can include water rentals (boats/jet-skis), hanging at the beach and other optional outdoor activities.

TARGET SPECIES, REGULATIONS AND PROCESSING OF TAXIDERMY OR MEAT HARVEST PLAN.

Chinook Salmon will be on the end of our tight lines, with the opportunity of Sockeye Salmon. You will be required to have the following licenses for this trip: freshwater fishing license and a salmon catch card.  We will be chasing after salmon for two days, Wednesday and Thursday. Depending on how hot the fish are biting, we could be limited out on fish before lunch time, giving us plenty of time for extra summer activities. Limit for salmon is 2 per lady, per day for Chinook and 2-4 for Sockeye (depending on Washington fishing regulations closer to the season). Fish will be filet after each fishing trip. Please prepare to take your salmon home. I recommend a soft or hard cooler for transport back home.

MEET YOUR COORDINATOR

AMANDA WILL BE YOUR TRIP COORDINATOR!

AMANDA GREW UP DEER HUNTING AND TROUT FISHING IN WESTERN WASHINGTON WITH HER FATHER BY HER SIDE, TEACHING HER ALL OF THE ROPES. FOLLOWING HER FATHER’S FOOTSTEPS, SHE VENTURED INTO WATERFOWL HUNTING IN 2017, QUICKLY FINDING A PASSION FOR CUPPED WINGS AND QUALITY TIME IN THE BLIND. FAST FORWARD 3 YEARS, AMANDA STEPPED OUT OF HER COMFORT ZONE AND TRAVELED TO OREGON FOR HER FIRST ALL-LADIES WATERFOWL HUNT. AS NERVOUS AS SHE WAS, SHE CREATED LIFETIME FRIENDSHIPS AND MEMORIES. AMANDA HAS NOT ONCE REGRETTED STEPPING OUT OF HER COMFORT ZONE AND ORGANIZED HER FIRST  ALL-WOMEN'S GOOSE HUNT AND SALMON TRIP IN 2022, IN BOTH WASHINGTON AND OREGON.

AMANDA DISCOVERED THAT THERE IS A LACK IF WOMEN IN THE OUTDOOR INDUSTRY AND WANTS TO BRING CONFIDENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND FRIENDSHIPS TO THE WOMEN OF THE OUTDOORS. BEING A PART OF HER WILDERNESS, AMANDA IS ALL ABOUT SHARING THE SAME PASSION FOR THE OUTDOORS WITH OTHER WOMEN. AMANDA WOULD LIKE TO HELP OTHER WOMEN STEP OUT OF THEIR COMFORT ZONE, TRAVEL AND EXPLORE NEW ADVENTURES IN THE PRESENCE OF MULTIPLE LADIES.

AMANDA’S FIRST HER WILDERNESS TRIP WAS A SNOW GOOSE HUNT IN STUTTGART, ARKANSAS. ON THIS HUNT, SHE MET SO MANY FRIENDLY AND SUPPORTIVE WOMEN, WHO ENCOURAGED AMANDA TO JOIN HER WILDERNESS AS A COORDINATOR FOR WASHINGTON. YOU CAN FIND AMANDA IN THE DUCK BLIND, SEARCHING FOR TURKEYS & DEER OR EVEN CASTING A POLE IN THE WATER. AMANDA CAN’T WAIT TO SHARE NEW EXPERIENCES WITH YOU!
