TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION

We are heading to Keokuk Iowa to do some bowfishing! We will meet at our Airbnb Friday evening for pizza before heading out on a boat the Mississippi River for some evening bowfishing. We’ll be out until early morning hours as long as weather permits. Saturday we’ll do some day bowfishing for a couple hours in the late morning before some downtime. We’ll eat at a restaurant nearby in the evening and then head out to fish again until early morning.

LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS + MISC. DETAILS

We will be staying in the McCune Mansion. With 4 bedrooms and 5 beds we will all have a bed to ourselves. A full kitchen will be great so we can have pizza on Friday evening at the mansion and homemade brunch together Saturday morning. We’ll have 2.5 bathrooms and tons of space to hang out and chill in our downtime. The mansion is only 10-20 mins away from where we'll be getting on the boat.

TARGET SPECIES, REGULATIONS AND PROCESSING OF TAXIDERMY OR MEAT HARVEST PLAN.

We’ll be bowfishing for rough fish, such as Gar, Carp, Buffalo, Bowfin, Freshwater Drum, and Quillback Carpsucker. You can keep any fish you wish and ship it home or take it home with you. Bows will be provided for you to use!

We are able to offer this weekend at only $425 per person, which will include a nonrefundable deposit of $225 and 1 additional payment of $200.

IOWA BOW FISHING WEEKEND | JULY 26-28, 2024
