TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION

If catching a trophy walleye is on your bucket list then this trip is for you! March brings pre-spawn females up into the Green Bay river mouths to spawn. We are joining KT Fishing Guide service for a two day fishing trip that you won’t forget chasing these giants! A trophy walleye can be classified as a fish measuring 25-33 inches long and a staggering 12-14 lbs pre-spawn. Depending on the day and weather conditions you could find yourself fishing the legendary Fox River for these giants. Or The bite may take us to Oconto, Pesthigo, Marinette, Suamico or other Door County trophy walleye locations. ALL/ANY walleye caught over the size of 24 inches will be released. This ensures the future success of the fisheries. Any walleyes caught of mountable size will be photographed, measured, and accurately documented. This will allow you to have a replica done by a taxidermist of choice or done by our recommended taxidermist. Walleye trolling/casting is bite dependent. We use both techniques, but please remember one or the other may be working better than the other on the day of your trip. We will be using the technique that will produce the best outcome to ensure you have success during your time in Green Bay!

This trip includes two days of fishing, two nights of lodging and a generous tip to our guides. The guides will be providing everything needed for a successful weekend, however travel is not included.

MEET THE COORDINATOR

Rachel Miles grew up in a small town called Chisago City, MN. She loves being outside and every adventure it brings – fishing, bow hunting, kayaking, riding ATVs, camping and the list goes on. Her first love is for her bow. Second, her fishing poles and tackle (hard water or open water).

Rachel was introduced to the great outdoors by her father and brother and has been hooked ever since. Though her bow is her first love, she loves trying new things. In the last year, she has attended many of the Her Wildness events including bowfishing, salmon fishing, grouse hunting, off shore fishing, big game hunting and sporting clays. In this calendar year she wants to experience Sand Hill Crane hunting and anything else she can get her hook stuck into.
