TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION

We are heading to Cisco, Texas for an amazing weekend of goose hunting! This is an ALL-INCLUSIVE hunting package including 2 morning goose hunts, breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2 nights of lodging at the hunting lodge! We will be hunting on a field over a dry land spread. This hunt will be in an A-Frame blind on a field hunting over full bodies, socks, or silos depending on what the guides believe will give us the best chance at success. We will be targeting lesser canada geese with the chance of also bagging greater, specklebelly, and light geese. We are hunting one of the highest goose populated counties in the world so you can expect to have a great time! We have the luxury of hunting over professionally trained dogs, this is truly such a site to see! After the morning hunts, we will have time to fish, play corn hole or pool, and for an additional cost we may have the opportunity to hog hunt in the evenings if time allows. Plan to arrive anytime after 4:00pm on Friday January 19th. Prepare to leave Sunday, January 21th after the morning goose hunt. 

LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS + MISC. DETAILS

We will be staying in the Hunting Lodge in Cisco, Texas. This lodge has 16 beds so we will be extremely comfortable! The hunting lodge also has a fully stocked kitchen, living area with flat screen TV’s, personal lockers, 2 full patios with outdoor furniture, pellet grill, oversized campfire, wifi, and apple tv! Don’t forget when we’re not hunting the lodge also is furnished with couches to lounge, corn hole, pool table, dart board, horseshoes, and fishing! So there will be plenty to keep us busy during our down time!

TARGET SPECIES, REGULATIONS AND PROCESSING OF TAXIDERMY OR MEAT HARVEST PLAN. 

We will have the chance to hunt light and/or dark geese. Light geese are snow geese, blue geese, and Ross' geese. Dark geese are Canada geese, white-fronted geese (also called specklebellies), and Brant. You can plan to fly home with your geese breasts frozen in your suitcase or with a checked cooler. We can work with the outfitter to reach out to local taxidermists they recommend if you wish to mount a duck. Please keep in mind this is a TEAM effort, your ability to mount a bird is not guaranteed.  These geese do have bag limits, our guides will help us every step on the way to ensure we are following all rules and regulations.

Required Licenses:

• Hunters Safety Course (from any state is valid)

• A Federal Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp (commonly called a Duck Stamp) is required by Federal law for waterfowl hunters 16 years of age and over. The stamp is available at most post offices and TPWD offices.

• Harvest Information (HIP) Certification is required to hunt migratory game birds.

Please read carefully: please make all payments by their due dates. If payments are late we will always work with you. however if there is no communication we will assume you are forfeiting your spot and any payments made will not be refunded. By registering for any wilderness trip you are under the full understanding that there are no refunds. by registering for this trip you understand that your deposit is non-refundable with no exceptions.
