TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION
We are headed to Chelsea, Iowa where we will be exploring public timber around the Iowa River for whitetail sheds. When you arrive Friday evening we will meet at the Airbnb and then head to Smashpark in Pella, Iowa. This is a super fun place we can eat, have drinks, and play pickleball, ping pong, corn hole and much more. In the morning we will have breakfast at the house and then head out to look for sheds. We will have lunch in Tama before heading out to look for another hour or 2 and then head home. Plan to arrive anytime after 5 P.M. , on Friday. Prepare to leave Saturday early afternoon.
LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS + MISC. DETAILS
We will be staying at the English Valley Bed and Breakfast by Montezuma. This Bed and Breakfast hosts hunters all year round and is a dog friendly place. If you have a dog that shed hunts, you are welcome to bring it along! We’ll be staying in the bunk house where there will be 11 bunk beds available. Breakfast will be provided! Our shed hunting spots are only 30 mins away.
TARGET SPECIES, REGULATIONS AND PROCESSING OF TAXIDERMY OR MEAT HARVEST PLAN.
Every late winter, whitetail bucks shed their antlers. We will be scouring the Iowa timber to find some! We might have a shed hunting dog along for the trip to help us out! Weather wise, we could be looking at cold, snow, wind OR sunshine and warm weather so pack accordingly.

The total cost for this trip will be $100. The breakdown of the payment plan will include a nonrefundable deposit of $100 and no additional payments.

This group is where you can connect with other trip attendees, ask your trip coordinator questions, and receive additional trip details. You can discuss packing lists, travel plans, and more. Please be sure you use a valid working email to register for this trip. If you do not have a facebook account please send an email to questions@herwilderness.co so that we can make the appropriate accommodations to get you additional trip details. Please read carefully: please make all payments by their due dates. If payments are late we will always work with you. however if there is no communication we will assume you are forfeiting your spot and any payments made will not be refunded.
