As we celebrate year two, we’d like to thank all of the women who have ever joined us on a trip, the guide services who have taken the time to facilitate our adventures, and the women who have put in countless hours planning and coordinating our events. It’s from these collective contributions that we’ve managed to stay true to the Her Wilderness mission. From all of us at Her Wilderness: thank you for helping us get to where we are today. When I first began my journey, I never intended to start a business—let alone create one that would empower women across the country to embrace adventure and outdoor exploration. In fact, what Her Wilderness is today was nothing short of a “happy accident.” It all began with one simple idea: to connect with other women who, like me, had an itch for adventure but no clear path to explore it.
