SAVE YOUR SPOT

Saddle up, ladies! Her Wilderness is heading back to the heart of the Flint Hills of Kansas for round three of our unforgettable cattle drive and ranching adventure. This is your chance to live the cowboy life for four action-packed days, stepping into a world where the pace is fast, the work is hands-on, and the laughs, and memories, never stop. Whether this is your first time or your third, get ready for dusty boots, wide-open pastures, and the thrill of working alongside real ranch hands who know how to get the job done and have a blast doing it.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be immersed in ranch life. You’ll ride across sweeping prairies, learn to rope, vaccinate, and brand calves, and drive cattle with guidance from experienced hands. It’s hard work, yes but it’s also incredibly rewarding. You’ll walk away with a new appreciation for teamwork, resilience, and the joy of stepping fully into God’s natural creation. As you ride across the hills we will see His truth in every challenge and every triumph.

Don’t worry if you’re not a rodeo pro. Prior riding experience is preferred, and we’ll match you with a horse suited to your level. All you need is an adventurous spirit, a willingness to learn, and a heart ready for fellowship. Each day on horseback will deepen your connection to nature, your fellow adventurers, and the One who made this world.

After each full day of riding and working cattle, retreat to cozy ranch-style accommodations. Five nights of shared lodging provide the perfect space to rest, swap stories, and reflect on the day’s adventures. Breakfasts and dinners are hearty, home-cooked meals, while lunches will be served out on the range, fueling your body for the next round of ranch life. Sharing rooms and meals is an intentional part of building community, deepening connections, and creating a sense of sisterhood among women who embrace challenge and adventure.

Our mission is to empower women through meaningful outdoor experiences, whether that’s hunting, fishing, hiking, or simply stepping into nature with confidence. Every trip we offer is designed to help you grow, connect, and feel truly alive. We know outdoor adventures can feel intimidating, especially if you’re new to it. That’s why our trips are women-only, designed to be welcoming, safe, and encouraging. No judgment. No pressure. Just a group of like-minded women supporting each other as we explore new skills and discover new passions. Her Wilderness is built on faith, fellowship, and freedom in the outdoors. We honor God’s design, reject cultural pressures to conform, and stand firm in biblical truth while creating adventures that point back to Him

Whether you’re joining us for a quick weekend getaway or an extended stay, we strive to choose an environment that nurtures a sense of community while providing all the comforts of home. FAQ’S AND POLICY

Yes, we know this part might seem a bit tedious, but it’s important! We kindly ask that everyone who registers for a trip visits the FAQs and Policy page on our website. If you sign up for a trip without reviewing this information, it’s your responsibility. There’s a wealth of valuable information there that could influence your decision. Please make sure to check out all the FAQs and Policies on our website before signing up for a trip with us. Thank you!

TRIP EXPECTATIONS + NO DRAMA POLICY

At Her Wilderness, our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and empowering outdoor experience for every woman who joins us. That said, outdoor adventures come with a level of unpredictability, especially when weather, wildlife, and group dynamics are involved. We ask all participants to bring a flexible mindset and a positive attitude. Weather conditions, guide recommendations, and other factors may require last-minute changes to activities, schedules, or game pursued (for example, switching from a duck hunt to a goose hunt if conditions call for it). These decisions are made with your safety and the quality of the experience in mind. If adaptability and going with the flow are not things you're comfortable with, we respectfully suggest reconsidering your participation in our trips.

What You Can Expect:

  • Outdoor conditions may change plans—including hunts, hikes, or water access.

  • You may share lodging with others.

  • Some locations may have limited facilities.

  • There is no guarantee of harvesting a specific species.

  • We do everything we can to deliver a great experience—no matter the challenge.

What We Expect:

  • A respectful, go-with-the-flow attitude.

  • Willingness to adapt to changes in schedule or activity.

  • Zero tolerance for drama, negativity, or behavior that impacts the group.

We maintain a strict no-drama policy. Any participant who brings negativity, disrupts the group dynamic, or disrespects staff or others will be asked to leave without a refund and will not be invited back to future events. We are here to build community, confidence, and lasting memories in the outdoors. Thank you for being part of that mission and for helping us keep our trips positive, welcoming, and fun for all!

TRIP REGISTRATION AND CONTACT INFORMATION

We’re thrilled to announce a new booking and payment system aimed at enhancing your experience! Starting October 1, 2024, all trip registrations will be processed through WeTravel. Your trip coordinator will then reach out with detailed information about your adventure and schedule two virtual video meetings for all trip attendees. The coordinator will share their email and other contact information with you at their discretion, so please respect their boundaries and contact them only through the provided information. A quick reminder: personal social media profiles are not the best way to reach out to your coordinator. To ensure smooth communication, please register with a valid email address that you check regularly. If you have any questions or need assistance regarding the trip, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at questions@herwilderness.co. We look forward to making your experience exceptional!
