We are off to North Dakota for two days of hunting during the early season  in New Rockford, ND. Early season hunting means big piles and a ton of birds! While this is a DIY self-guided hunt, a few locals (Justin and RJ) will be providing decoys, hunting equipment and be sure they have an eye on the geese prior to our trip. With that being said, this is a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of goose hunting. We will be with them every step of the way, doing it all. So be ready! We will be up bright and early to set up decoys, call the birds in, packing the trailers and cleaning our harvest.. We will all work together to make this hunt successful and as memorable as possible while learning a thing or two in the process! 

We will arrive in the evening on Thursday, September 2nd, hunt in the morning on Friday and Saturday, and depart Saturday, September 4th after all of the fun is over. We will be staying at the Buck-Its Hunting Lodge in New Rockford. There will be two lodges with three girls to a lodge. All women on this trip will be required to share a bed and bathroom. We will all be having a buffet Friday night at Buck-It's Bar to hopefully celebrate a job well done. When we are not hunting we will be hanging out at our lodge where we can play cards, games, or explore the town and get a bite to eat.

This trip is $350 and will be broken up between a non-refundable deposit of $150 and two payments after that of $100.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: PLEASE MAKE ALL PAYMENTS BY THEIR DUE DATES. IF PAYMENTS ARE LATE WE WILL ALWAYS WORK WITH YOU. HOWEVER IF THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION WE WILL ASSUME YOU ARE FORFEITING YOUR SPOT AND ANY PAYMENTS MADE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. WE WILL THEN REACH OUT TO OUR WAITLIST AND GET YOUR SPOT FILLED BY ANOTHER PARTY. BY REGISTERING FOR ANY HER WILDERNESS TRIP YOU ARE UNDER THE FULL UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. We are able to offer a partial refund only if we fill your spot with a member on the waiting list. At that time we may be able to refund any additional payments made outside of your deposit. Your deposit is NOT refundable. If your spot does not get filled, we will not be able to offer a refund.

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: You will need to purchase a hunting license for this trip and can do so HERE.

We recommend waiting to book your flights to be in sync with the other women attending, you are likely to find someone to carpool with or split a rental vehicle. Tentatively plan to arrive sometime in the afternoon (12 - 4pm) Thursday and depart in the early evening (2 - 6pm) on Saturday.
