Picture yourself tucked into a blind as the first light of day spills across the Wyoming mountains. The snow capped Big Horn Mountains glow in the distance, mallards cup their wings over the decoys, and the sound of geese echoes across the river valley. It’s time to join Her Wilderness for an unforgettable weekend of duck and goose hunting in northern Wyoming, where incredible waterfowl hunting meets luxury lodge accommodations, breathtaking western scenery, and the camaraderie of women who share a passion for the outdoors.

We'll hunt some of Wyoming's most productive waterfowl habitat, including private access along the Shoshone River, Big Horn River, and Clark's Fork of the Yellowstone River. These legendary river systems create ideal migration corridors and attract thousands of ducks and geese throughout the late season.

Mallards are the primary target species, but we may also encounter goldeneyes, wigeon, pintails, and geese depending on migration patterns and weather conditions. Hunts are conducted from comfortable permanent blinds and A frame style blinds, providing an enjoyable experience for both beginner and experienced waterfowl hunters alike. On colder mornings, heaters are available in the blinds to help keep everyone comfortable while waiting for the birds to fly. Late November is one of the most exciting times of the season in northern Wyoming. Cool temperatures and migrating birds can create unforgettable mornings in the blind, offering opportunities at mallards, geese, goldeneyes, wigeon, and pintails. For many hunters, a western waterfowl hunt in Wyoming is a true bucket list experience.

When we're not in the field, we'll relax at a beautiful 4,000 square foot private hunting lodge overlooking a sprawling marsh complex and surrounded by breathtaking views of the Big Horn and Pryor Mountain ranges. The lodge features spacious accommodations, comfortable gathering spaces, and the perfect setting to unwind after a day of hunting.

Each morning, participants will be responsible for preparing their own breakfast at the lodge before heading out to hunt. The lodge features a full kitchen, and we'll make a grocery stop upon arrival so everyone can purchase their preferred breakfast items, snacks, and lunch supplies for the weekend. Lunches can be packed each morning before leaving for the field. On Friday and Saturday evenings, we'll head into town to enjoy dinner together at some of Lovell's local restaurants. Please note that all meals, groceries, snacks, and restaurant meals are the responsibility of each participant and are not included in the trip price. Whether we're swapping hunting stories around the kitchen island, watching wildlife from the lodge, or gathering together after a successful day in the field, the camaraderie and friendships built on these trips are what make them so special.

This trip is designed for women of all experience levels. Whether you're a seasoned waterfowler looking to add another adventure to your season or you're stepping into a duck blind for the very first time, you'll be welcomed, encouraged, and supported throughout the entire experience.
