THURSDAY OCTOBER 1ST, 2026 - SUNDAY OCTOBER 4TH, 2026
WARRENTON, OR | CRABBING + BOTTOM FISHING WEEKEND
TOTAL COST: $1,000 | DEPOSIT: $250 (THIS IS NON REFUNDABLE)
REGISTRATION OPENS: FRIDAY 06/11/2026
TRIP COORDINATOR: AMANDA BRIANN
For the third year in a row, Her Wilderness is heading back to the Pacific Northwest for the ultimate coastal harvest adventure! This trip takes us straight to the heart of the Columbia River and—if the weather plays nice—out into the mighty Pacific Ocean. Together, we’ll chase some of the coast’s best seafood, dropping crab pots and casting lines for bottom fish like lingcod, rockfish, and sea bass.
Picture it: the boat rocking gently, sea lions bobbing on the buoys, the thrill of pulling up a pot brimming with feisty Dungeness crab, and the non-stop action of reeling in fish. It’s hands-on, high-energy, and filled with laughter as we work side by side, cheering each other on. The cooler will fill quickly with fresh catches, and so will our camera rolls with unforgettable memories.
Both Friday and Saturday, we’ll launch early and spend the day fishing and crabbing until late afternoon. Each woman can harvest up to 12 Dungeness crabs and 3 bottom fish per day. By evening, you’ll have tired arms, salty hair, and a sun-kissed smile—with plenty of seafood to prove it! Our guides will handle all the cleaning and processing at the dock, and you’ll even have the option to have your crab steamed right there. Plan to bring or purchase a cooler so you can transport your catch home, or ship it if you prefer.
This experience is designed for all levels—whether you’re a seasoned angler or brand new to fishing. With two incredible guides leading us and a small group of adventurous women by your side, you’ll have everything you need for success. All gear is provided, so just bring your sense of adventure and a valid Oregon or Washington angling & shellfish license (short-term options available).
Fun Fact: Dungeness crab are found from Alaska to Mexico and are one of the most sought-after delicacies in the Pacific Northwest. And rockfish? They’re perfect for fish tacos or golden, crispy fish and chips.
Please plan to transport your fish and crab home with you. Our guides will do all of the processing and cleaning at the dock. You will have the option to have your crab steamed at the dock as well. If you will be flying with the fish/crabs, I highly recommend bringing a cooler, or purchasing a cooler on the trip and checking it onto the airplane. If you prefer not to carry on the airplane, shipping home can always be an option as well. You will need an Oregon or Washington Angling & Shellfish license for this trip. There is an option for short-term fishing/shellfish licenses available (1-3 day options). Gear will be provided by the guide.
This trip is more than just fishing—it’s about connecting with nature, celebrating the harvest, and sharing salty, joy-filled days with women who live for adventure. Join us for a coastal experience you’ll never forget! As we harvest from the waters, we’re reminded of the God who provides every good gift. This weekend isn’t just about crabbing and fishing, it’s about fellowship, gratitude, and praising the One who made the seas and filled them with abundance.
