TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION

Picture this:  You and your significant other embark on a thrilling seven-night, six-day safari adventure in the beautiful Limpopo Province of South Africa. Your days are filled with excitement as you set out at sunrise on guided hunts across the vast African bushveld, home to an incredible array of wildlife.

Each day promises to be unique, offering a mix of exhilarating hunting and relaxation. You'll start your day with breakfast before the sun rises, preparing for the exciting hunt ahead. Following breakfast you will venture into the wild with your PH, you'll encounter a plethora of wildlife, so don't forget to bring your trusty camera to capture these awe-inspiring moments. You'll have the opportunity to shoot 2 of the following: Steenbuck, Duiker, Warthog, and Impala, or 1 Zebra per person, which is included in the price. Any additional animals you choose to shoot will be paid for separately. Depending on the distance from the lodge, your PH will either pack a lunch and beverages for you or you'll return to the lodge to savor a hot meal prepared by the chef. Afterward, you can choose to unwind for a few hours or dive right back into the hunt until the mesmerizing African sunsets. If you tag out early or just want to mix things up there are some activities you can partake in such as fishing, pontoon ride down the limpopo river, head to the world class spa for the day, lounge in the pool and more!

After each day, you return to the lodge where all your needs are catered for. You are treated to delicious, locally sourced meals and refreshing drinks to toast to your adventures and harvests. Evenings are spent under the starry African skies, perhaps with a traditional braai or BBQ and storytelling around the campfire.

Each day of this trip will offer a new opportunity to connect with nature and each other, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Get ready for an unforgettable safari experience!

TARGET SPECIES, REGULATIONS AND PROCESSING OF TAXIDERMY OR MEAT HARVEST PLAN.

Taxidermy: While on this once in a lifetime trip you will have the opportunity to harvest many beautiful african animals such as a zebra, impala, duiker, steenbuck, warthog, blue or black wildebeest, cape buffalo, giraffe, sable, kudu and MUCH more! If you plan to taxidermy any animals you can work with the lodge and the local African Dip & Pack to arrange the processing of your animals. You will have two options for taxidermy. ONE being they can dip and pack your animals (hides and skulls), crate them and ship them to the United States to the taxidermist of your choice where he or she will complete the mounts stateside for you or TWO you may have Africa Dip & Pack Taxidermy full mount the animals the way you would like and ship them directly to you after the animals are completed. Time frames on when to expect your animals back vary depending on their workload in Africa and your local taxidermist's workload in the states. Whichever you decide to do, the people of African Dip & Pack Taxidermy will take care of you!

Meat: Unfortunately we are unable to ship the meat home, but it does not go to waste! Our chef will be cooking up some of the meat from the animals our group harvests for us to try! The rest will be split up between the workers at the lodge, skinners, and trackers. Some of the meat also goes to the local market where it is sold.

Regulations: We will be traveling internationally so you will need a passport! If you do not already have a passport, be sure to apply for your passport upon registering for this trip, to allow plenty of time for processing. Licensing will be taken care of by our professional hunters & lodge prior to our arrival and is included in the package price. No purchasing of any licenses will be necessary unless  you choose to add extra animals that require a permit. If you are planning to hunt extra animals that require a permit we will need to know at least 3 months in advance to allow the outfitter time to prepare any necessary paperwork. No vaccinations are required and malaria is not a concern in the Limpopo Province. Global entry is not required, but encouraged, to make your trip back to the states easier when we return to the states! Having global entry will allow you to get through customs and immigration faster than the average person. EXPECTATIONS + NO DRAMA POLICY

There are times that our trips do not go exactly as planned or advertised. Mother nature plays a large role in how we are able to spend time outdoors. We ask that you come into every single Her Wilderness trip with a positive attitude and “go with the flow” mindset for the duration of your trip. If that seems unreasonable, we kindly ask that you do not register for our events. The weather is unpredictable and can impact hiking, hunting, fishing, and our number #1 priority, your safety! For example, if your trip is geared towards hunting ducks, but right now the guide can only confidently offer a successful goose hunt, we will go with the guide's recommendation. If a situation like this will upset you then please do not register for a trip with us. We expect every woman to have a positive attitude no matter the circumstances. We have had plenty of trips get canceled, rescheduled or have plans changed with no issues simply because the group was understanding and made the best of the situation they were given. We pride ourselves in how fun our trips can be even in the most unfortunate of circumstances. If you are often considered “high maintenance” or tend to get stressed out then we kindly want to let you know that our trips are not a good fit for you. You may have to share a bed with a stranger, the weather may not allow us to participate in an activity, there may not be any showers available, there may only be 1 bathroom for 10 women, you may not harvest the animal you wanted to get, there could be someone on the trip that you just don’t vibe with. All of these scenarios are real and they happen. We will do our best to filter and prevent what we can before it becomes an issue. All of our trips and events are a drama and stress free zone! If you are the source of any drama you will be asked to leave with no refund given. We always want to ensure that our customers are comfortable and taken care of. We will always ask that you have a cool, calm and collected attitude. If you are unable to maintain a good attitude in a variety of circumstances we kindly ask that you refrain from registering for a trip. We appreciate each and everyone of our customers and want to ensure the best experience for all of our attendees!
