TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION

We are heading to Wyoming’s Wind River Country! Waterfowl hunters won’t want to miss the opportunity to head to Western Wyoming for an action-packed weekend of waterfowl hunting with a group of other like minded couples! During this time of year, Western Wyoming is known for prime goose hunting. Our hope is to hit that timing just right and pile up some giant Canada geese. You truly wont want to miss out on this destination hunt of a lifetime, there is just something different about hunting right in the breathtaking mountains of Wyoming! The Wind Rivers contain more than 40 named peaks over 13,000 feet, including Gannett Peak, Wyoming's highest at 13,804 feet. Seven of the largest glaciers in the Rocky Mountains are found here as well. To say that this area is breathtaking just truly isn’t enough. You have to come see it for yourself!

Attendees can expect to arrive at the Airbnb in Lander, WY on Friday evening and check into the home after 3pm. That evening, we will spend some time getting to know each other before getting a good night’s rest in preparation for our first early morning of hunting. Saturday and Sunday morning, we will head out early with our guns and guides to pile up geese. There will be some downtime Saturday evening after the hunt and we will go out to find some local cuisine and explore the town of Lander, WY. Lander is known as one of the best outdoor towns in America! Although we will be in the winter there is still ample opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy all that Lander has to offer. Plan to arrive after 3pm on Friday. Prepare to leave Sunday afternoon or evening after we are done hunting.

MEET THE COORDINATOR

Originally from Wisconsin, Sam has lived in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for ten years now. Her favorite pastimes include big game, waterfowl, and antler hunting. In the last few years, she has traveled to Arkansas, Texas, and Missouri to hunt waterfowl and migratory birds with Her Wilderness. The success rate on each trip may vary, but the potential to walk away with memories and new friends is 100%. She looks forward to sharing this experience pursuing waterfowl in the state she now calls home with this group!
