KENOSHA, WI | SALMON FISHING WEEKEND

Plan to arrive anytime after 4 P.M. , on Friday, May 5. Prepare to leave Sunday, May 7 mid afternoon.
TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION
Get ready because we are heading to Kenosha, WI! We hope that you are ready to hit the water with Captain Matt Wagemann and one of our very own, Brooke Miller, aboard a 31’ Pacemaker Flybridge. Captain Matt is going to take us to some of his best locations on Lake Michigan as we search for fish-rich grounds while having a lot of fun too! Lake Michigan holds a lot of target fish such as Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Chinook Salmon, and Coho Salmon. We are going to be hitting Lake Michigan during prime time for Coho Salmon and chances for higher quantities of fish! There is no experience needed to join this trip! Our captains will take the time to teach us and provide all the equipment we need to be successful. They will even clean our catches for us to to take home all of our fresh Lake Michigan fish. The only thing you will need to come with is a valid WI Fishing License and a positive attitude! We will be making memories with complete strangers that may become your lifelong friends!
Plan to arrive Friday afternoon, where we will get settled in and get to know each other. We can stay in and do dinner at the airbnb or explore the town and check out the local restaurants. Saturday morning we will plan to hit the water early for a 6 hour trip on the Lake before heading in, you will have the afternoon to relax and explore the area, which is home to many museums, lighthouses and more! We will head out for the last trip of the weekend Sunday morning (fingers crossed we limit out) and then head back in to help clean our catches and package them up to head home. LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS + MISC. DETAILS
We will be staying in an airbnb in or near Kenosha, WI to ensure we are close to the docks. Please keep in mind that you may need to share a bed with someone you may not know and we may be limited to one bathroom, so please remember to be courteous and kind to the other women on this trip. The airbnb will have a kitchen with a refrigerator that has a freezer so you don’t have to worry about where you will keep your catch after we get off the boats. If you are more comfortable bringing your own air mattress, bedding, pillows, towels, etc. you are more than welcome to do so!
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
You will be required to have a WI fishing license which can be purchased online or at a WI gas station or sporting goods store. You can purchase your license by clicking HERE.

We are able to offer this weekend at only $625 per person, which will include a nonrefundable deposit of $225 and 2 additional payments of $200.

AIRPORTS + TRAVEL INFORMATION
It’s always a good idea to book your flight after joining the facebook group! That way you are able to communicate with others attending the trip to book your flights in sync and split rental car or uber costs!
The nearest airport is the General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee (MKE), which is approximately 32 miles from Kenosha, WI . The second nearest airport is the Chicago O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, IL (ORD), which is about 54 miles from Kenosha, WI. We recommend waiting to book your flights to be in sync with the other women attending to make traveling from the airport to the airbnb easier.
