Plan to arrive in the afternoon, around 4 P.M, on Sunday and departing in the evening, around 6 P.M. or later, on Tuesday. 

TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION

We are heading back for round three of conservation snows in Arkansas but this time we will hosting our FIRST EVER COUPLES’ TRIP! Last year our group had such an incredible time with Northern Skies that we had to come back! We will be hunting in the heart of the Mississippi flyway and hitting the snow goose season at what is known to be the best time, right over Valentines day! Arkansas conservation season means NO PLUGS, NO LIMITS! If the hunting is in our favor we have the opportunity to harvest an incredible amount of birds! A hunt like that will be something that you will remember forever! FINGERS CROSSED for good weather and good hunting! We are so excited to host our very first couples hunt with you over Valentines day! This is going to be a very special trip!

Plan to arrive at our beautiful airbnb in Gillette, AR on Sunday afternoon. The 3,650 square foot lodge has 4 large bedrooms & sleeps 12. There are 2 full baths; a great room with a large flat screen tv!. We will have 4 couples on this trip, so each couple will get their own room. Each room has 3 twin sized beds. We have stayed in this airbnb before and it was a great location for hunting as well as convenient for running into town. The space has a full self-service kitchen and laundry room. The bar area has a mini fridge and ice machine. The back porch has a fish cooker (oil not provided - it holds 10 gals), a charcoal rotisserie, a flat top griddle with butane and an outdoor butane fire pit. After we get settled in, get to know each other, and have dinner together plan for lights out early as we will be up at the crack of dawn for our first morning hunt on Monday. We will hunt both Monday and Tuesday from 5am - 11am, take a lunch break and then go back out in the field from 3-sunset. If the hunting is good, we will stay in the field all day long and we won’t take a lunch! (plan your snacks accordingly) You can depart on Tuesday at any time you would like, but we have the field booked for hunting all day until sunset.

We can spend our lunch break doing some midday exploring around Arkansas or just relaxing back at the lodge! We are staying 30 miles south of Stuttgart, AR. There are plenty of things to do in Stuttgart, AR like visiting the iconic Mack’s Prairie Wings or swinging in for a cold beer at the Flying duck Brewery. There are also several local restaurants with great food options and nightlife to enjoy! Meals are not included but we have a full kitchen available for cooking and a grocery store just down the road. 

The cost of this trip will cover two full days of snow goose hunting, two nights stay in an Airbnb! At this Airbnb, each couple will have their own room but you will share a bathroom with others on this trip. You will have your own twin sized bed. Please be prepared for that!

The total cost of this hunt is $1,550 per couple. You will register as ONE deposit of $550 per couple. You will make 1 payment of each as follows. The total for one couple is $1,550.

We recommend waiting to book your flights to be in sync with the other women attending to make traveling from the airport to the Airbnb easier.  Tentatively plan to arrive sometime in the afternoon (after 4 P.M.) on Sunday, and depart in the evening (after 6pm or later) on Tuesday.

HOWEVER IF THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION WE WILL ASSUME YOU ARE FORFEITING YOUR SPOT AND ANY PAYMENTS MADE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. WE WILL THEN REACH OUT TO OUR WAITLIST AND GET YOUR SPOT FILLED BY ANOTHER PARTY. BY REGISTERING FOR ANY HER WILDERNESS TRIP YOU ARE UNDER THE FULL UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS.
