TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION

We are off to the reservoir of Lake Wateree with Wolfe’s Guide Service. This will be our first trip with Wolfe’s, and we couldn’t be more excited! We will spend one day chasing after South Carolina Catfish and one day chasing after Striped Bass.

Plan to arrive at our Airbnb around 4 P.M. EST, Sunday for a meet & greet followed by dinner. We will have an early start on Monday in order to get to the marina in time for prime fishing! Monday will be a full day of chasing after catfish. We will likely be on the water all day, so please be prepared for that! If we are not too exhausted from our day of fishing, we can find a local restaurant and an evening adventure near our Airbnb, or relax by the lake! Tuesday will be our day of chasing after Striper fish. We will be on the water for about half of the day on Tuesday. Plane to depart around 3 P.M. EST on Tuesday.

About the space from Airbnb:

Welcome to "Nature's Therapy." Step out from the hustle and bustle of life to our newly updated "shabby chic" house full of character and charm while you enjoy the peaceful, quiet lakefront views of the main channel of Lake Wateree. The large front porch overlooks the lake providing breathtaking views whether you are enjoying coffee on the chaise lounges, having lunch on the outdoor dining area, or sipping smooth wine as you rock the stress away in oversized rocking chairs.

We would love to share our lakefront home with your family. It is lovingly decorated and maintained with special attention to making your experience great.

There is plenty of private parking on a circular paved drive good for trikes and skating. We are on a dead end street of only 5 houses so it is very quiet and neighborly so please no loud parties or disruptions to this peaceful environment. The main roads off our street are good for walking and exercising. Big fish are caught right in our cove and the yard is big enough for yard games. Bald Eagles are frequently spotted as are egrets, herons, deer, and other wildlife.

Our property is secluded by woods on each side for privacy.

MEET THE COORDINATOR

Courtney will be your trip coordinator. She is from the small town of Lancaster, SC, just on the border of North Carolina. She was lucky enough to be introduced to whitetail hunting at a young age and fell in love with the outdoors. In her spare time, she enjoys hunting, fishing, and traveling to new places. This trip, Courtney is most looking forward to scratching a striper off of her catch list, as well as meeting and uplifting like-minded women who enjoy exploring the outdoors.

This trip is going to be an action-packed weekend of chasing catfish and striper in the waters of Lake Wateree in South Carolina, and we hope you’ll join us! Please feel free to email questions@herwilderness.co with any questions about this trip!
