MISSOURI RIVER FLOAT SOCIAL MEET UP

TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION
We are heading to Steelville, MO to go spend the day floating down the river! This float offers clear water, forestry, and some small rapids. On this trip we will be able to stop and hang out along rock bars and take a dip to cool off if we need to! And if you are into fishing, these Missouri rivers offer a variety of species to catch including: smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, rock bass, white crappie, channel cat, and drums.
We will be putting in at Huzzah Valley Resort and taking out at Onondaga Cave State Park. This is a 10 mile float which will take 6-8 hours to complete, but this can differ depending on how many stops we take or how quickly we paddle. So be prepared to spend most of the day out on the water! With that being said, plan to bring plenty of drinks, snacks, and a lunch out with us.
There is camping at Huzzah as well. If you and other girls would like to camp afterwards arrangements can be made. Regular campsites are $21 per person/per night. There is cabin lodging as well for those that are interested. The overnight lodging will not be included in the trip but we are happy to help coordinate with those who register for this trip!
DEPOSIT + PAYMENT INFORMATION
This is a FREE social meet up, but you will be responsible for paying for your own watercraft. We ask that you register for this free event. Registration will open on 07/07 and there are limited spots available so please register on 07/07 or as soon as you know that you are coming! You must reserve your watercraft as soon as you register. The sooner you can confirm you are coming and pay for a watercraft the better chance of securing your spot on this meetup. This is still in peak floating season in Missouri so if you wait too long spots may be taken up!
On a hot summer day, nothing is better than a float down the river! Paddle through the cool waters on your own or float with friends as you experience everything that the River has to offer! You can reserve your watercraft HERE.

You are allowed to bring your own Kayak or Canoe which Huzzah will shuttle for a fee.
