BEMIDJI, MN | DIY ICE FISHING & PINT NIGHT
THIS IS A FREE SOCIAL EVENT!
Plan to arrive at 10A.M. , on Saturday morning and depart after the pint night at 8pm Saturday evening.
We are heading to Lake Bemidji, Minnesota for an epic day of DIY ice fishing and a Pint night social at Bemidji Brewing! This will be a bring your own fishing gear and social meetup! Her Wilderness will provide the bait, location and have access to ice augers and a small shelter. Andrea will guide everyone on the set up for each fish species targeted like Walleye, perch, pike and panfish. All you have to do is bring your favorite snacks and drinks on the ice! We will meet at Paul Bunyan Park 300 Bemidji Ave N, (10am-4pm) Then head to Bemidji Brewing 211 America Ave NW, (5-8pm).
A Minnesota fishing license is required!
ICE FISHING LAKE BEMIDJI
With some of the deepest, clearest lakes in the state, the Northwoods of Minnesota is the best place for fishing and ice fishing. Great reproduction rates, state fishery stocking efforts, and sensible catch limits make our lakes exciting to fish.
Lake Bemidji and surrounding lakes are best known for walleye, bass, perch, northern pike, muskie, crappie, and bluegill.
PINT NIGHT WITH BEMIDJI BREWING
Come join Her Wilderness and enjoy some local craft beer from our friends at Bemidji Brewing!
This social gathering will give an opportunity to learn more about Her Wilderness. Our intention is to create a safe, relaxed, and judgment free environment for women from all experience levels to elevate life, try new and unique experiences and ultimately connect with other women who share the same passion for the outdoors.
This event is open to the public, so bring family members, friends and co-workers that might be interested in Her Wilderness, too!

Meet Andrea! Some of you may recognize her from past Her Wilderness trips such as, The Cast + Blast and bowfishing trips. Andrea is originally from North Dakota and currently resides in East Grand Forks, MN as a teacher. Some of her favorite memories outdoors are hunting in North Dakota and Minnesota and catching her first Lake Trout on LOTW in Ontario. Outside of trips, we’re truly excited for Andrea to promote more social meet ups, educational events like how to process wild game, and establish lifelong friendships across the nation! Andrea is so excited to meet you and can’t wait to share these once in a lifetime adventures with you!

HOWEVER IF THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION WE WILL ASSUME YOU ARE FORFEITING YOUR SPOT AND ANY PAYMENTS THAT YOU HAVE MADE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. BY REGISTERING FOR ANY HER WILDERNESS TRIP YOU ARE UNDER THE FULL UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OF PAYMENTS.

CAN I ATTEND A TRIP BY MYSELF?
Yes! Many of our members attend Her Wilderness event by themselves, and leave feeling like they have made new life long friends. This is a huge part of why we do what we do. We highly encourage you to step out of your comfort zone, come meet some new women who love the same things you do.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT TO BRING ON A TRIP?
For each trip, we will create a private group with every member attending to use as the main form of communication. One week before the respective trip we will post in the individual trip’s Facebook group a “what to pack” list that will include information that we think will be helpful. Remember, this may not include everything you need for your specific style of hunting and fishing. It’s always a good idea to do your own research. We encourage you to reach out via email if you have any additional questions on what to bring.

CAN I GET A REFUND IF I CAN’T ATTEND A TRIP OR EVENT? By registering for a trip, you check that you understand that there are NO refunds on your deposit. We may be able to offer a partial refund on additional payments made if we fill your spot with another attendee and the trip is completely filled. Your deposit will not be refunded even if your spot is filled.
DO HER WILDERNESS TRIPS INCLUDE A TIP?
No. As of January 1st, 2022 we no longer include a tip to our guides on our trips. We don’t always know how each person is feeling towards their experience and we want everyone to be in control of what they tip. Please be prepared to bring additional funds to give your guides a tip!
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF A TRIP IS SOLD OUT?
JOIN OUR WAIT LIST! If a trip you’re interested in is sold out and you’d like to be placed on the waitlist, email questions@herwilderness.co. We almost ALWAYS have last minute spots open, and being on the waitlist is the best way to snag them before we post them on social media.
