TRIP DETAILS + INFORMATION
Do you want to spend a weekend relaxing in a beautiful place? This weekend will include hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, Yoga, Sauna, Spa treatments and more, all while enjoying the great outdoors! We are spending a magical fall weekend in Estes Park Colorado. Estes Park sits in the heart of the Rocky Mountains located 7,522 feet above sea level. Full of pines, yellow Aspens, Alpine Lakes, and Hiking Trails- you're guaranteed to have your breath taken away. Being one of the highest National Parks in the nation, it is surrounded by snow capped mountains and majestic views. Aside from the views, Estes Park offers Gold Medal Trout Fishing Rivers, a historic downtown strip full of charming restaurants and unique merchants, and an extensive amount of wildlife including Elk, Mule Deer, Bighorn Sheep, and Moose.
We will arrive on Friday afternoon after 4 PM. We will all meet at the AirBNB no later than 5 o’clock. Once everyone is settled into rooms and bags are put away, we will all head to the historic downtown strip for dinner. We will spend the evening getting introduced to each other so that we all feel connected moving forward into a weekend full of festivities! It is important to attend dinner so that everyone can participate in breaking the ice and getting to know one another!
Saturday morning the wellness hiking guide and yoga instructor will pick us up from our AirBNB at 9 am. We will head into Rocky Mountain National Park where they will lead us on our first adventure that will last approximately 3 hours. There is no prior experience necessary. Whether you are new to hiking or yoga, the guides will lead you through gentle practices and scenic trails. This experience will leave you refreshed, relaxed, and connected to the nature around you. Yoga mats, snacks, water, and entry into the park are included.

Following our guided experience, we will have free time and availability to stay in the park and continue to hike or explore different areas, view and hike alpine lakes and waterfalls, or tour the park via car searching for wildlife. We can also tour the iconic Stanley Hotel from the movie “ The Shining,” or walk the shops downtown.
Sunday morning we will wake up and get prepared for departure. After checking out of the AIRBNB, we will head to a local wellness spa to complete our weekend of relaxation! We will change into fluffy robes and sandals for extra comfort while we receive a much needed post hiking foot scrub, mask, and massage. We will have access to the heated saunas and relaxing lounge area of the spa. By noon we should be wrapped up with our spa experience- you are welcome to depart or stick around for the day and extend your trip!

LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS + MISC. DETAILS
We will be staying in an AirBNB located right in the heart of Estes Park. Bed and bathroom sharing is a possibility, but there is plenty of space for all to be comfortable. We will have a private hot tub so be sure to pack your bathing suit! A fully stocked kitchen and wifi are available as well as all other normal amenities. Checkin is after 4PM.

MEET YOUR COORDINATOR
My name is Tia! I am originally from Rockford, Illinois. I moved to Colorado on a whim at 21 years old on a roadtrip that never ended. I was raised on a farm around hunting, fishing, horses and four wheelers. I have now been in Colorado for 13 years. I became Colorado Coordinator last year and my first Her Wilderness trip was Pensacola Shark Fishing I am a single mama to an 8 year old fellow adventurer. She and I spend our free time trout and bass fishing, camping, paddle boarding, and back country hiking in this amazing state where every day feels like a vacation!

Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to a private facebook group for this specific trip. This group is where you can connect with other trip attendees, ask your trip coordinator questions, and receive additional trip details. You can discuss packing lists, travel plans, and more. Please be sure you use a valid working email to register for this trip. If you do not have a facebook account please send an email to questions@herwilderness.co so that we can make the appropriate accommodations to get you additional trip details. Please read carefully: please make all payments by their due dates. If payments are late we will always work with you. however if there is no communication we will assume you are forfeiting your spot and any payments made will not be refunded. By registering for any wilderness trip you are under the full understanding that there are no refunds. by registering for this trip you understand that your deposit is non-refundable with no exceptions.
