This trip is designed for 7 adventurous women ready to explore some of Iceland’s most iconic and awe-inspiring locations, combining exciting activities with moments of relaxation and connection. You’ll begin your adventure in Reykjavík, Iceland’s charming capital, known for its colorful architecture, rich history, and thriving food scene. Once you arrive in Iceland we will spend time wandering through the city’s unique neighborhoods, soaking up the local vibes, and enjoying excellent dining options that highlight fresh, local ingredients. This area is where we will call home base for the duration of our trip.
To start off your week you will immerse yourself in Iceland’s renowned fly fishing scene with a full-day guided excursion targeting native brown trout and Arctic char. Whether you’re an experienced angler or trying this for the first time, you’ll benefit from expert guidance, all necessary gear, and a scenic backdrop of pristine rivers and lakes nestled in Iceland’s stunning wilderness. This trip is perfect for beginners or experienced anglers alike. No experience? DON’T WORRY!
No trip to Iceland would be complete without indulging in its legendary geothermal spas. Experience the rejuvenating waters of the Blue Lagoon and the Secret Lagoon, each offering a distinct ambiance and natural beauty. These spa visits offer a chance to relax your muscles and soak in the mineral-rich waters amidst otherworldly landscapes.
We will take some time to explore the dramatic Reykjanes Peninsula, where volcanic formations, bubbling geothermal fields, and rugged coastlines paint a picture of raw natural power. Visit sites like lava rock pools, active geothermal vents, and historic lighthouses that make this region a photographer’s and nature lovers dream.
We will add an awe-inspiring evening of whale watching departing from Reykjavík Harbor, where you’ll have the chance to spot majestic marine giants such as humpback whales, minke whales, and playful dolphins in their natural habitat.
To round out your Icelandic experience, journey through the world-famous Golden Circle, a route that features remarkable natural wonders like tectonic rift valleys, erupting geysers, and thundering waterfalls. We will hike, site see and take the day to simply enjoy the natural beauty of this magical place! Along the way, you will savor farm-to-table dining inside a unique tomato greenhouse, where fresh flavors meet Icelandic ingenuity.

Please make sure to check out all the FAQs and Policies on our website before signing up for a trip with us. Thank you!
TRIP EXPECTATIONS + NO DRAMA POLICY
At Her Wilderness, our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and empowering outdoor experience for every woman who joins us. That said, outdoor adventures come with a level of unpredictability, especially when weather, wildlife, and group dynamics are involved. We ask all participants to bring a flexible mindset and a positive attitude. Weather conditions, guide recommendations, and other factors may require last-minute changes to activities, schedules, or game pursued (for example, switching from a duck hunt to a goose hunt if conditions call for it). These decisions are made with your safety and the quality of the experience in mind. If adaptability and going with the flow are not things you're comfortable with, we respectfully suggest reconsidering your participation in our trips.
What You Can Expect:
Outdoor conditions may change plans—including hunts, hikes, or water access.
You may share lodging with others.
Some locations may have limited facilities.
There is no guarantee of harvesting a specific species.
We do everything we can to deliver a great experience—no matter the challenge.
What We Expect:
A respectful, go-with-the-flow attitude.
Willingness to adapt to changes in schedule or activity.
Zero tolerance for drama, negativity, or behavior that impacts the group.
We maintain a strict no-drama policy. Any participant who brings negativity, disrupts the group dynamic, or disrespects staff or others will be asked to leave without a refund and will not be invited back to future events. We are here to build community, confidence, and lasting memories in the outdoors. Thank you for being part of that mission and for helping us keep our trips positive, welcoming, and fun for all!
